Procurement Executive, Warehouse Operations 采购专员
JOB SUMMARY:
To support warehouse operations by managing the procurement of warehouse equipment, consumables, materials and related services. This role is responsible for ensuring timely purchasing, cost efficiency and uninterrupted warehouse operations through effective supplier management and procurement planning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for warehouse operational requirements.
• Source suppliers, obtain quotations, evaluate pricing, and negotiate for the best commercial terms.
• Process Purchase Requisitions (PR), prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure timely processing of procurement requests.
• Prepare and submit Payment Request Forms in accordance with the Company’s payment approval policy.
• Follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules and resolve issues relating to shortages, delays, or quality discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Operations teams to understand purchasing requirements and ensure continuous supply of operational items.
• Monitor stock levels of warehouse consumables and arrange replenishment when necessary.
• Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers while monitoring supplier performance.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
• Work closely with Finance on invoice verification and payment-related matters.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
• Possess at least a Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience, preferably in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in procuring warehouse equipment, MHE, consumables or operational materials will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations will be an added advantage.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English and Mandarin, both spoken and written, is required to communicate with China HQ, suppliers and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Willing to work at Seksyen 22, Shah Alam.
